Male Birth Control Injection May Be Near. Excuses To Follow.
TheMedGuru.com reports on a pair of two year trials of a male birth control injection taking place in Great Britain.
"Professor Richard Anderson, from the University of Edinburgh, who is heading one of the two year long trails said, 'A lot of women may think it's time men took their turn. When we carried out surveys of women, they were enormously enthusiastic. The single most common reason was they wanted to share the responsibility for contraception.'"
Men, meanwhile, shouted "Out of my cold dead haaa... errr, there has to be a better way of saying this."
Ok, back to science: "The shot contains the male sex hormone testosterone, and a synthetic version of the female sex hormone progesterone. The men will be given injections by the general physician twice a month. The injection works by stimulating the brain into reducing the levels of other hormones which control sperm production and maturation."

I think your forgetting something
Yes getting rid of unwanted pregnancy with male and female birth control is a answer. But it only half the answer, you're forgetting that you to have find cures or better yet vaccines for STDs. So female and male birth control is great but remember before the orgies and fuck parties start you need to get rid of the second half of the problem, cures or vaccines for STDs.

I find it borderline infuriating that men would have such objection to hormonal birth control methods designed for them, when women have had to contend with the effects of hormonal birth control for all this time. And what's more, they have to deal with the effects of not using the hormonal birth control as well. Pregnancy, abortion, giving a child up for adoption...Someone is complaining about being injected with extra testosterone. Well female birth control injects additional estrogen and progestin in women. And yes, that is one of the hormones produced during pregnancy. So women have to trick their bodies into thinking it's already pregnant to avoid getting pregnant. What effects do you think that has over time for A LOT of women?...weight gain, increased appetite, nausea, bloating, decreased sex drive, vaginal dryness to the point of pain during sex and the list goes on. Bottomline fellas, you can't get all the enjoyment of carefree sex while the women bear the brunt of why it is or for most females, is not carefree. Man up and at least give the medication a try. If it gives you adverse effects, like hormonal birth control does for me (a woman) than discontinue using it. But it's pretty selfish to not at least give it a try, particularly if you're in a committed relationship that is trying not to get pregnant.
